Horse Riding Papiesfontein |
| |
 |
|
|
Feel the sensation of galloping across a wind-swept beach,
with pure horsepower beneath you and open space stretching
kilometers into the distance. Over the past years, both
holidaymakers and Jeffreys Bay locals have enjoyed ‘getting
back to nature’ on horseback. The trail winds 13km through
natural vegetation, providing one with ample opportunity to
spot a variety of bird species, tortoises, dassies and plant
life. If riders are fortunate enough to follow the trail
during the seagull breeding period, the sight of undulating
dunes is surreally broken by the graceful seabirds circling
protectively over their grey-speckled fledglings.

| Do
you want to bungy jump from the world’s highest bridge
ever at a whooping 216 m high. Than is this your chance and

the bridge Bloukrans. A proud record for South Africa and
particularly, Tsitsikamma, Plettenberg Bay, and the Garden
route. We also offer a bridge walking tour and a ’’200m
flying fox’’ on the arch of Africa’s largest bridge.
The Bloukrans bridge is still the world’s highest

About the Lion Park |
As the name implies, Seaview Lion Park’s main attraction is
the lions. At present, the lion population is approximately
55, of which nearly 25 are sub-adults and cubs.
All the lion cubs born at the Park are hand-reared and for
the small fee of R60.00, may be handled by the public. Please
note we only allow handlings once the cubs are at least
six-weeks-old.
Open every day (except Christmas Day) from 9:00 until
17:00. The Park is perfect for families and little ones. The
game is easy to spot and often right next to the roadside.
Watch the big lions in the ‘lion camp’ being fed every
Sunday at 12:00.
After your game drive, you can enjoy a light meal at the
restaurant up at the Sanctuary area, or bring along a picnic
lunch, as there are facilities right near the lion camp.
It’s an experience you won’t forget in a hurry!
At the Sanctuary area they have a number of animals that
you can view from the Boardwalk. It’s free of charge, and
you’ll be able to spot, among other creatures, Chris the
Crocodile, Carrie, Tom, Noam, Fufa, Pinny, Adam and Jagger,
